Job Description:

Immediate need for an Assistant Controller for a very sought after company. This position is responsible for assisting management with all accounting functions including, but not limited to, reporting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing. Oversees implementation of accounting systems, policies, and best practices and procedures. Reviews and approves journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. Prepares and reviews fixed asset ledgers and ensures all items are properly capitalized and depreciated. Assists with the preparation of year end journal entries, coordination of audits and preparation and review of tax documents and other areas of compliance. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree, banking experience highly desirable as well as a CPA.
