qualified Cath Lab RN in Sacramento, California, 95819! Pay
Information $3,101 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty:
Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per
Shift: 0700-1930 with call, every other weekend Experience: Minimum
of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Scrub experience is highly preferred Description:
Candidates must have experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
SCRUB EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED. Clienttion badge is required,
and will be supplied by the agency. The unit includes 3 procedure
rooms. The facility performs approximately 3,000 cases per year.
Common diagnoses and types of patients include diagnostic and
interventional cardiac catheterization, TAVR, and Mitraclip
procedures, along with some peripheral vascular cases. It is
accredited as a Chest Pain Center and serves as a STEMI tertiary
referral center. The unit utilizes Cerner and Merge Hemodynamics
for documentation purposes. There is a team of technicians
available, either CV Techs or Rad Techs with Cath lab experience.
The facility has hospitalists or intensivists available on-site. An
IV team and pharmacy services are available 24/7. Weekend and
holiday requirements include up to every other weekend. Shifts
consist of three 12-hour shifts within a week. Floor-specific
orientation consists of two shifts. Candidates are required to
provide two supervisor references from the specialty submitting to.
Candidates must not have been employed by any facility associated
within the past year. Prior to signing the contract, a specific
exam is required and must be completed within a designated time
frame. Scrub experience will be assessed with specific questions
regarding recent scrub practice and case types. Cancellations may
occur up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment.
