Position Details: Location: Mercy South Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float Shift: Various Shifts Available JoinOurNursingTeam Incentives: $40/hour plus Variable Shift Incentive W-2 Employee Status Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday) Options for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts Variable Shift Incentives available Work at your convenience! Position Overview: Are you looking for a flexible Registered Nurse role with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift commitments. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program entails a responsibility to schedule a minimum number of hours, be available on short notice, and remain flexible, as shifts may be canceled last minute. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG RNs: Behavioral Health (BH) Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical-Surgical (MS) Women’s Health (L&D, M&B) Facilities/Locations: Mercy St. Louis - St. Louis, MO Mercy Jefferson - Festus, MO Mercy South - South St. Louis County, MO Mercy Washington - Washington, MO Mercy Lincoln - Troy, MO Mercy Perry - Perryville, MO Mercy Southeast - Cape Girardeau, MO Mercy Stoddard - Dexter, MO Qualifications: Required Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements. Experience: At least one year of recent bedside RN experience is required for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent specialty-specific bedside RN experience is necessary. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software. Certifications: For Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women’s Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) - Basic Life Support (BLS) For Critical Care - BLS and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Additional certifications may be required post-hire. Physical Requirements: This position necessitates the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift, along with the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job duties. Why Choose Us?
