Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric OR Location: Oakland, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,916 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 9 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric experience License: Required RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Ability to independently circulate in at least 3 of the following services: General Surgery Client Orthopedics/Spine Otolaryngology/Airway Genitourinary Surgery Plastics Ophthalmology Cardiac Description: This position offers a 10-hour day shift with variable start times. Candidates must have a valid CA RN License along with AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience is required. Successful candidates will be able to independently circulate in multiple surgical services. Preferred qualifications include CNOR certification and proficiency in scrubbing. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital is also preferred. Skills required include Pediatric General OR procedures such as: Cleft lip/Cleft palate repair Frenulectomy Myringotomy with tubes Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy Tracheostomy Tympanoplasty Appendectomy Central venous line insertion/removal Cholecystectomy Circumcision Colon resection Epigastric hernia repair Inguinal hernia repair Arthroscopy of knee, shoulder, wrist Closed reduction of fractures Open reduction of fractures Spinal fusion with instrumentation Club foot correction Administration of blood and blood products Infection control measures Laser and radiation safety Specimen handling and labeling Universal Protocol compliance Wound management All candidates must have the COVID vaccination and booster, with no exceptions. Proof of vaccination must be provided upon request. Travel experience and prior teaching hospital experience are preferred. Candidates should be aware that reassignments may occur within 75 miles if required. Travel pairs are allowed but typically not on the same unit. Married couples may not work in the same unit.
