working with Job.com LLC to find a qualified Infection Control RN
in Walnut Creek, California, 94595! We are actively seeking an
experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Infection Control for a
26-week travel assignment in California. This is a full-time
opportunity working day shifts (5 x 8-hour shifts per week) with
competitive weekly pay. The Infection Control RN will be
responsible for leading and supporting infection prevention
initiatives within an acute care setting. This role requires strong
clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to
collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain infection control policies and
procedures Conduct routine facility-wide infection risk assessments
and recommend corrective actions Monitor, track, and report
infection data, trends, and outcomes Investigate infection cases
and implement mitigation strategies Lead staff education and
training on infection prevention protocols Ensure compliance with
state and federal infection control regulations Collaborate with
leadership and clinical teams to strengthen infection prevention
programs Provide education to patients and families regarding
infection control practices Maintain accurate documentation and

Registered Nurse license Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in
an acute care setting At least 1 year of Infection Prevention
experience Minimum 1 year of Epidemiology and/or Public Health
experience CIC (Certification in Infection Control) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred Qualifications:
Previous travel assignment experience Experience with infection
prevention surveillance and reporting databases Completion of
CDPH-HAI (California Department of Public Health –
Healthcare-Associated Infections) training/program
