Radiation Therapist Location: Greenbrae, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,111 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiation Oncology Specialty: Radiation Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years in Radiation Oncology License: ARRT and CA RTT license Certifications: BLS certification Must-Have: Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred Description: We are seeking two Radiation Therapists to support our Radiation Oncology department. This position requires a day shift with a 0700 - 0800 start time. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology. The role involves properly setting up and aligning patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed. Therapists will assess patient status during direct interactions and make appropriate referrals to various healthcare team members. Preparation for treatment delivery includes chart and film checks, room setup, calculations, and electronic medical record checks. Therapists will manage the treatment calendar, including programming port films as necessary. Patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning may be required.
