mission-critical app demands. About the Role Yugabyte is looking
for an experienced, highly motivated and detail-oriented People
Operations Specialist to join the Yugabyte People Team. This role
has a high opportunity for growth and will offer a wide range of
skill development across the HR and People function. As a member of
this dynamic team, you will focus on delivering an extraordinary
employee experience, building positive relationships with our
employees, and cultivating a company culture that emphasizes
quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. This is a
hybrid position, based in Sunnyvale, CA. Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day People operations activities including
onboarding (background screenings, I-9 processing), employee data
management, benefits administration, and off-boarding Ensuring
People operations are compliant with company policies and
procedures, legal requirements, and industry best practices
Administering People systems and tools, including HRIS, benefits
administration systems, and other related systems Working closely
with cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT etc. to ensure the
timely execution of employee transactions Analyzing People data and
metrics, produce reports, and recommend solutions for improvement
Developing and implementing People policies and procedures
Providing administrative support with various People projects and
initiatives (ex. open enrollment, HR technology implementation,
employee events, trainings, etc.) Qualifications Bachelor's degree,
preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related
field 2-5 years of relevant experience in HR operations, HRIS (ADP)
and benefits administration Comfortability with Human Resources
systems and tools, including ADP Workforce Now, benefits
administration systems and other related systems Strong analytical
mindset and problem-solving skills Naturally interpersonal with
strong EQ and high-empathy communication style Ability to work
independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and
priorities simultaneously Introductory or higher familiarity of
Human Resources policies and procedures, legal requirements, and
industry best practices Preferred Qualifications Experience in a
startup or rapidly scaling organization Experience within a global
workforce, including India, UK or Canada We feel strongly about
equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one
way to help achieve that. The cash compensation for this role is
market-competitive, with a range of $100,000-$120,000 base salary.
Our packages also include equity and benefits including competitive
health plans, retirement plans, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not
a guarantee of compensation or salary. The actual pay will vary
based on factors including experience, qualifications, and skill
