We help ensure that the products they ship are designed and engineered to the high standards Apple sets for itself. This position is perfect for a software engineer who enjoys collaborating with others to solve app development challenges, and has a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.We answer a wide range of code-level questions, create sample code and documentation, and work closely with engineering teams across Apple to continuously improve the Apple developer experience and APIs. If you've ever learned from sample code, opened a Technical Support Incident or asked a question on the Developer Forums, attended WWDC Labs, or participated in Tech Talks, you've seen our work.Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years experience developing native apps using Xcode, Swift, and Objective-C.
• Strong familiarity with Apple developer workflows and expectations.
• In-depth experience with AVFoundation, Core Media, Core Audio, and Core Foundation.
• Experience capturing, processing, and presenting media with AVFoundation.
• Familiarity of the HLS protocol.Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy for developers and a track record of supporting their success.
  • Excellent debugging skills and capable interpreting crash logs including using LLDB and Sysdiagnose.
  • Strong understanding of computer science & software engineering best practices.
  • Willingness to dive in and take ownership of a technology or problem space.
  • Active and engaged in the Apple and/or Swift developer community.
  • Building and shipping apps on all of our platforms.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
