. Position Description: We a seeking a Director, Management and
Business Development (Public Sector) CGI to join our CGI team in
Sacramento, CA! This career opportunity is located in Sacramento,

consulting leader to help us manage and grow in the Sacramento, CA
area, deliver effective solutions for our government clients, and
further our mission for strengthening the communities we call home.
Join our leadership team and help deliver effective technology
solutions to transform service delivery and/or solve our clients'
current challenges in the California State Public Sector.
Responsibilities include helping our customers solve the challenges
they face across business and technology, managing the teams
providing the services to our clients, and increasing market share
in our portfolio. Business Development responsibilities include
developing a strong three-year pipeline of prospective
opportunities to drive new business to increase revenue within
existing and new accounts. Must be able to manage pipeline from
identification to signature. This career opportunity is also
designed for a sales-driven leader with a passion for building
client relationships, driving revenue growth, and leading
high-performing teams. This opportunity blends greenfield and
account growth responsibilities, driving new client acquisition
while expanding and deepening relationships within existing
California state-level accounts. Our ideal candidate should possess
state and local government domain experience, specifically in the
field of IT and related delivery capabilities and have existing
relationships at state and local departments. Additionally, as a

resources. Your future duties and responsibilities: How you'll make
an impact . Hold overall accountability for project and service
delivery, ensuring outcomes meet or exceed client and Business Unit
expectations . Drive the success of engagements by leveraging
global delivery teams and vendor partnerships, frequently acting as
the Engagement Manager to address issues and concerns . Manage
project teams to manage and enhance client satisfaction . Oversee
engagement profitability, maintaining a focus on financial and
operational efficiency . Apply CGI's industry-leading delivery and
engagement management best practices to ensure consistent
excellence . Contribute to business strategy and development to
align delivery with Business Unit and Sector growth objectives .
Maintain and cultivate a pipeline of opportunities to meet
financial growth targets . Develop a strong pipeline of
opportunities by actively nurturing relationships at existing
accounts and building within new accounts . Lead the creation of
proposal responses, as well as solution offerings to meet client
needs . Provide leadership to a team of professionals, including
direct reports and global delivery teams, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals . Implement management best practices such as
succession planning, member performance reviews, and finance
management Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
What you'll bring . Experience in IT and Consulting Services:
Minimum of 10 years in relevant roles including selling and
delivering IT solutions to the public sector . Business Development
Skills: Proven track record in strategic sales planning, pipeline
development, opportunity cultivation, and closing complex IT
consulting deals . Business Acumen: 5 years of experience managing
Profit & Loss within a consulting organization, with a focus on
both sales and delivery. Strong understanding of budgets,
forecasting, planning, and complex pricing models . Project
Management Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing Agile,
Waterfall, and hybrid technical projects while mentoring project
managers, PMP desired . Application Modernization Expertise: Proven
track record in delivering modernization projects . Delivery
Accountability: Oversight of projects with a minimum annual value
of $7M . Client Relationship Management: Strong understanding of
public sector challenges, procurement processes, and digital
transformation trends. Demonstrated success in engaging and
building strong client partnerships . Leadership Abilities:
Effective people management and the ability to lead
cross-functional teams . Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: A
keen intellect with strong conceptual thinking and decision-making
capabilities . Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written
communication skills across all organizational levels .
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with diverse,
cross-functional teams . Ability to travel as needed Minimum

estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination
of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set,
level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and
certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based
performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the
top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is
