Job Description Job Description Job Title: Shipping Associate Job Description The Shipping Associate will be responsible for handling shipping duties in a warehouse setting, focusing on packaging and logistics tasks. The role is based in Santa Rosa and involves working with electrical connectors used in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities Meet with the customer service team each morning to review stock parts on a spreadsheet. Pull parts from spreadsheets to package in individual boxes. Provide weight and dimensions for each part using a warehouse scale and tape measure. Handle shipping products exclusively, separate from receiving tasks. Stand for 8 hours per day, collaborating with a team of three other shipping associates. Assist with cable cutting and delivering to different cells. Lift boxes weighing up to 100 lbs onto pallet jacks and carts. Operate a sit-down forklift to run cable to a machine for measuring and cutting. Pull cable off a 6-foot rail, coil it, and tape it to prevent unraveling. Perform other related duties as required. Essential Skills Proficiency in SAP, Shipping, and Forklift operations. Strong English communication skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable with heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Ability to read, write, and speak English well. Team player with a positive attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with SAP or Excel is beneficial but not mandatory. Commitment to assignment for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for conversion to full-time. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of SANTA ROSA, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
