Job Description:
Meter is building a category-defining brand while moving
decisively upmarket. As we focus on larger, more complex customers,
winning depends on more than strong sales execution—it requires
early, precise, and deeply relevant engagement with the right
accounts, buying groups, and partners. This role is pivotal to that
shift. This person will be the first in this role and is
responsible for how Meter shows up to our most strategic accounts
at the moments that matter most. We are looking for someone
exceptional to lead this work: a marketer who thrives in
high-stakes environments, can operate with depth and precision, and
knows how to shape perception and momentum long before a deal is
signed. What success looks like Within six months, the Major
Marketer will have launched fully bespoke 1:1 marketing programs
for all 10 priority major accounts, each grounded in deep account
research, buying group insights, and partner alignment, and is
actively supporting live opportunities with coordinated,
high-impact engagement. They have measurably increased engagement
across buying committees within those accounts, expanding reach to
additional stakeholders and influencing meetings, events, and sales
conversations that directly support pipeline progression. They have
also put the foundation in place for a repeatable majors marketing
motion, with clear planning, execution, and reporting processes
that give sales and leadership visibility into account engagement
and marketing’s impact on major deals. What your day-to-day will
look like On a typical day, you’ll be deeply embedded in a small
set of priority accounts. You might start the morning reviewing
account signals and insights in tools like Demandbase, looking for
changes in intent, stakeholder activity, or partner updates that
should inform next steps. From there, you’ll sync with a sales or
partner lead to align on where each account stands, what
conversations are happening, and where marketing can add leverage.
Much of your time will be spent planning and steering highly
tailored programs: briefing content or creative on account-specific
messaging, coordinating a targeted event or executive touchpoint,
or adjusting paid and outbound efforts to match a specific
initiative inside an account. You’ll regularly lead
cross-functional working sessions to ensure sales, marketing, and
partners are aligned on priorities, timing, and execution. You’ll
also spend time reviewing performance and engagement across
accounts. The role is a balance of strategy and hands-on execution:
moving quickly between deep account thinking, cross-team
coordination, and practical delivery to keep momentum high across
Meter’s most important deals. Who you are You are a marketer who
has done true 1:1 or highly focused ABM before and knows how to
influence complex, multi-stakeholder accounts. You’re comfortable
going deep on a small number of priority accounts and understanding
what actually drives decisions across buyers, partners, and
internal teams. You think in accounts, not channels, and you know
how to turn sales and partner strategy into focused, relevant
marketing actions. You bring strong judgment to cross-functional
work and are trusted to lead planning, make tradeoffs, and keep
teams aligned as account priorities shift. Why Meter? The internet
runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's
all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t
changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly
hard to set up in an enterprise space. We started Meter to build
better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up:
designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive
software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for
our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale.
Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater,
Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees
and locations online and productive. Our bet with Meter is simple:
we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we
have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to
do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.
Compensation The estimated base salary for this role is between
$130,000 - $175,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to
participate in Meter's equity plan. By applying to this job you
